This is the section of the site where samples of our members work can be read by the public at large.

Verulam Writers' Circle has a diverse membership spanning ages from sixteen to late seventies, and our occupations and backgrounds give rise to many varied styles of writing. This section of the site will hopefully reflect the level of experience and demonstrate that we are open to new members no matter how new or long (or short) in the tooth they may be!

Verulam Writers' Circle will display on this site, works by authors who are fully paid up members or postal members, subject to the following provisos:

• All work must be original, and copyright of the author
• All work will remain copyright of the author
• Any work that might be classed as suitable for a particular readership (eg. For readers over 18 years old) must contain a warning to that effect beneath the title.
• Verulam Writers' Circle, it's committee and its webmasters, shall not be held responsible for the content of material submitted to the site - that responsibility remains with the author. However, the work must not contain obscene, blasphemous, libellous or other material likely to bring disrepute on the Circle. If such material is submitted it will be rejected; if such material slips through the vetting system and is displayed, it is at the risk of the author, who must take full responsibility for the content. If it is brought to the attention of the webmaster or other committee member that material displayed on the site is likely to lead to litigation or is offensive to our readership, it will be removed immediately
