Choose a book
This year's competition is an unprecedented opportunity to inflict your reading tastes on the rest of the circle.
We want you to name the book you would recommend we all read and to say why. The winning book will be recommended to the circle and will be analysed at a VWC workshop on 13 June 2007. The workshop will focus on what we can learn from the techniques used by the writer.
Entries should be up to 750 words long and should be written with a title and pseudonym. Your real name should not appear anywhere on the manuscript. Judging will be by vote of members present on the night of adjudication, which is:
October 4th.
The winner will receive £10 and - better still - the David Gibson cup itself, badly in need of a polish due to the totally un-domesticated nature of the previous winner. Good Luck!
