Entries should be up to 750 words long and should be written with a title and pseudonym. your real nme should nott appear anywhere on the manuscript. Judging will be by vote of memebrs present on the night of adjudication, which is:
6 OCTOBER
THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE £10 AND - BETTER STILL - THE DAVID GIBSON CUP ITSELF, WHICH REALLY IS QUITE NICE IF YOU ACQUAINT IT WITH SILVER POLISH.

PS Manuscripts will be displayed on the walls so you might like to bear this in mind when selecting font size, especially as readers' eyesight may be adversely affected by the odd glass of wine during the course of the evening.
