Colleen RichardsonFrank Ferneyhough & Eileen Elias
I am encouraged that I have had so many articles and interviews published and I am now trying to write short stories - either for radio or for the women's magazine market. I have been editor of the Imperial College Engineer journal for the past ten years and have found that this has helped my writing in many ways because of the editing, the meeting of deadlines, the rigour of the interviewing and the actual commissioning of pieces. I have also found that the VWC meetings have been immensely helpful. Talking about one's work and getting constructive criticism on a regular basis with like-minded people, is very valuable and can actually be exciting.
